The prestigious Longines FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses will be held for the second time in Ermelo, Netherlands, from August 3rd to 6th 2017.

The World Breeding Dressage Championships has a large international competitor field featuring 97 riders from 24 countries. No less than 123 combinations will make their appearance. Among them are Simone Pearce representing Australia aboard Château de Fontaine's Hanoverian stunner Casablanca, the combination will start 12.18 PM in the qualification class for 5-year-old-horses.

20 studbooks have send in representatives that will compete for the coveted titles. Leading studbook is the Royal Dutch Sporthorse Studbook (KWPN), represented by 31 horses at the world championships. The Hannoveraner Verband is the runner up with 20 participating horses, followed by the Oldenburger Verband.
